In 2020, a Traffic Engineer for the County of San Mateo contacted us to install Bike Turnouts on Kings Mountain Road. Unfortunately, he couldn't use the Mount Diablo Bike Turnout Design, since it's NOT in Caltrans. On 4-9-21, he published the "COUNTY OF SAN MATEO CALIFORNIA, KINGS MOUNTAIN ROAD STRIPING AND SIGNAGE FOR BICYCLE PULLOUT AREAS PLAN, using the design below.
