Page #8: "22-06 BIKE TURN-OUT Signs Action: The committee passed a motion recommending inclusion of two proposed bike turn-out guide signs in new CA MUTCD Section 9B.105 (CA) “BIKE TURN-OUT Signs”, after seeking clarification from CHP as to whether they should be regulatory or guide signs. Caltrans checked with CHP and decided that these signs needed to be regulatory and not guide signs. Incorporated into CA MUTCD 2014 Revision 8, which was issued on January 11, 2024.
